Disable the Windows XP Splash Screen

1-Right click My Computer--> Properties--> Advanced--> Startup and Recovery Settings


2-Press Edit button.
Edit BOOT.INI. Add "/SOS" right after "/fastdetect" with a space between.
It will look like this:

You can enable the splash screen by removing "/SOS"
